Set up POP3 or IMAP Email Account on Your Android Mobile Using the Email App

This tutorial explains how to setup POP3 account on your Android mobile device using the Email App.

1. From the application menu of your device select the Email application icon.

2. Select Other.

3. Enter your email and password details and click Sign in.

4. When it's finished loading, you should see a box with three options, select POP3.

5. On the Server settings page, in the Account section, enter your Email address, Username, and Password.

6. Under the Incoming server section, enter your POP3 server email address.

7. Under the Outgoing server section, enter your SMTP server address, under the Security type, select the drop-down arrow and select TLS, then enter port 587. Make sure to leave the authentication to send enabled, and the rest can be left as default.

8. Click Sign in, then select Accept, in the Accept all certificates section.

9. You should now be signed in, and you should be able to see your email address at the top of the screen.
