Setup POP3 or IMAP Email on Android Mobile from Account Settings
This tutorial explains how to setup an POP3 account on your android mobile device.
1. On your Android mobile device, swipe down to bring down settings, and select the settings icon.
2. In the Settings menu, select Accounts and backup.
3. Select Accounts.
4. At the bottom of Accounts, select Add account.
5. In The Add accounts section, scroll down and select Personal (POP3 or IMAP)
6. Enter your email address, and select NEXT.
7. Enter your email address password, and select NEXT.
8. In the Incoming server settings, enter your Username, Password, and the incoming server address, then select NEXT.
9. In the Outgoing server settings section, enter your Username, Password, and the SMTP server address, then select NEXT.
10. In the Account options section, select your Sync frequency time, and leave both boxes ticked if so desired.
11. In Your account is set up section, enter Your name, and select NEXT.
12. In the Accounts section, you should now see your added account.
13. To test the added account, go to your Gmail app, and in the top right corner select the user's profile.
You should be able to see the added account in the list of accounts.
