DNS over HTTPS (DoH) is a protocol that encrypts DNS queries, enhancing privacy and security by preventing third parties from monitoring or tampering with DNS requests. Instead of transmitting queries in plain text over UDP or TCP, DoH uses HTTPS to encrypt DNS traffic, making it more resilient to interception and manipulation.
Webvault provides secure DNS resolvers that support DoH, allowing customers to enhance their online privacy while benefiting from fast and reliable DNS resolution.
To configure Windows 11 to use Webvault's DoH DNS servers, follow these steps:
Click the Start Menu and open Settings.
Navigate to Network & Internet.
Click Ethernet (for wired connections) or Wi-Fi (for wireless connections).
Click Edit under DNS server assignment.
